Gretson

Gretson Guitar
My homemade guitar project. A Gibson/Gretsch mashup that I call the Gretson.

This project turned out to more popular than I ever imagined and I get so many emails asking, “What’s the deal?” that I decided to give it its own page.

Gretson explanation
The details:

Bulldog LP-P90 “Les Paul” style body and neck.
TV Jones T-Armond treble pickup
Thorn GT90 rhythm pickup.
Custom made pick guard crafted by Paul Setzer
Aluminum Compton bridge.
Bigsby B6 tailpiece.
“Cadillac Green” paint from Guitar ReRanch.
Currently strung with Pyramid Vintage Light Flatwounds

I brainstormed the logo idea on Gretsch Talk and was helped with it’s final execution by forum member Ricochet.
